Legal Services is a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is to ensure access to justice for low-income people in the State of New Jersey. Your gift moves us closer to that goal by helping us provide legal advice and representation on critical issues to tens of thousands of New Jerseyans each year.
Annual Campaign for Justice
Every day, Legal Services advocates assist clients with matters of life-altering impact—defending against foreclosure and eviction; securing basic entitlements like food and cash assistance; resolving child custody issues; and protecting victims of domestic violence. Your tax-deductible contribution will help us accept more cases and provide the legal expertise and access to justice our clients need.
LAMP Special Initiative
Attorneys and advocates with LSNJ’s Legal Assistance to Medical Patients (LAMP) project meet families where they are—right in the hospital, at their most fragile moments—to fight for their rights. Your gift of $1,000 or more to LSNJ ensures that children who are disabled, face serious illness—or both—don’t just receive medical treatment—they also receive justice, security, and the chance to thrive.

The Melville “De” Miller, Jr. Memorial Fund
Honor the legacy of Melville "De" Miller, Jr., Co-Founder and former President of Legal Services of New Jersey, by supporting the next generation of justice advocates. Your tax-deductible donation helps fund fellowships for law students and newly admitted attorneys, empowering them to serve communities in need and continue his lifelong mission of expanding access to justice.
Cy Pres Awards
Cy pres awards from class action settlements to Legal Services of New Jersey have provided significant support for our work, our mission, and our clients. Additional meaningful ways to contribute include:
- Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD): If you are age 70½ or older, you may make a direct charitable distribution from your IRA.
