Position Summary: The Director of Human Resources is a senior leadership role responsible for partnering with the senior management team to develop and execute HR strategy in support of the organization’s mission and legal services work. This broad, generalist position oversees all core human resources functions, including recruitment, benefits administration (medical, dental, 403(b), and related programs), employee relations, compliance, and required reporting. Legal Services of New Jersey, an Edison-based non-profit law firm that provides free civil legal assistance to low-income New Jerseyans, has an opening for an Intake Paralegal to support our statewide legal hotline. Callers to Legal Services of New Jersey’s Hotline are low-income individuals and families who face eviction, foreclosure, threats of domestic violence, have been sued by creditors or face a variety of other civil legal problems. Callers can access our statewide legal hotline, which provides legal information, advice, and referral in civil legal cases.
