2022 Family Unification Day |

“Listen Up! Serving Families by Centering the Client Voice” was created for the 2022 LSNJ Family Unification Day, part of the annual nationwide American Bar Association Family Reunification effort. The video captures two clients’ journeys with DCPP involvement and how they overcame barriers to be reunited or remain united with their children. It highlights the importance of hearing and responding to the needs of parents with regard to services provided. LSNJ’s Unification Day event honors parents who have successfully prevented removal or reunified with their children following involvement with the child welfare system, along with the service providers who provided needed support to help them reach their goals.
